Meet the team

Laura Mehra

Co-Founder & Creative Director

  • Laura, originally a WA girl, trained in a multi award winning salon in WA and went on to work with this team for over 10 years. In this time she worked on numerous photo shoots, live competition, and fashion shows.

    Following years of managing the salon Laura decided to spread her wings and moved to Brighton in the UK for 18 months. Here she worked on London fashion week and perfected her skills. (Not to mention where Ollie and Laura fell in love!). The years of education and experience has made Laura the colour expert she is today.

    After returning to Perth and working at Perths leading salon group as a head colourist, extension specialist and as company educator - it was time to live the dream of making Margaret river home.

Ollie Mehra

Co-Founder & Artistic Director

  • Ollie a UK Boy from a leading ,multi award winning salon. Ollie honed his craft on high streets of the UK for 10 years . Taking his expertise to the highest level working on photoshoots for magazines, London fashion week, presenting on stage and educating for the fellowship of hairdressing. Ollie participated on multiple art teams and has built a huge client following .

    After 5 years of working in Perth at Perth’s leading salon group as apart of their master styling and education team . Ollie is a true master craftsman specialising in cutting and styling.

    Now living his dream by Choosing the Margaret River high street as his new home. He and his fabulous wife Laura are now building LOAM , using all there years of experience to build a brand they are so passionate about.
